July 1958, just turned 19 years old, back from Guam. The 1953 "Custom Ford" that I saved
for while stationed on Guam. It had only 6000 miles on it, had been garaged by a man who lived in Phoenix in the winter. Drove
it to Salina, Kansas where I was going to be stationed at Schilling Air Force Base.
Me and Gayle, we were married 19 December 1959 at Salina, Kansas.
We had one son, Scott Charles, born 11 Jan 1963 at Phoenix, Arizona. Picture taken at Salina. Was no longer a Radio Operator,
crosstrained as a Purchasing Agent. Radio Operator's were frozen, no promotion's.

Me and Shirley, we were married at Las Vegas, Nevada, 4 June 1971.
We had one son, Jeremy Blaze, born 9 Oct 1974 at Phoenix, Arizona. Picture taken at our graduation in 1973 from Maricopa
College, Phoenix. We met while attending Phoenix College in 1970.
Shirley on the left, picture taken 1976 at the Defence Language Institute, at Monterey,
California. She was attending a year long language course. We had moved there from Ayer, Massachusetts where she attended
a Cryptography school. I ran the Print Shop for the city of Pacific Grove, Calif. Shirley was selected as Honor Student of
the year for the Institute.

Maybe, I'll just be a famer. The house in Independence, Missouri had
a big lot. Had chicken's, duck's, cow's, grapes, blackberry's, berry tree's and one huge Goose, who got a big kick out of
chasing Trail. It was almost like living on a farm. But, we also had the farm down at Stockton, Missouri Which we visited
on the weekend's quite often...
First grade, First day of school. Trail, (AKA "Cotton") looks
a little apprehensive. I don't think he thought this was a good idea!! Independence, Missouri.

50's style "Flat Top" what was called a "Boggie" flat on top long on sides. It was getting there,
wherever there is!
First love! Gayle, the first day of school Junior year, science class. My heart stopped, then
went into high speed. We would be married at Salina, Kansas in 1959.

into passing gear, and it could "Honk" on down the road!!

the pitching coach wanted to see my fastball, said they could teach "Junk" pitching...As the great pitcher Satchel Page said,
"Don't look back they may be gaining on you". Took my glove and headed to my car in the parking lot and never looked back!!
